You are a talented front-end web designer looking to help us build a beautiful and user-friendly Internet. You have a broad mix of experience and talents, you understand that design is as much about how well things work as how good they look, and you champion the needs of the user while understanding and appreciating the realities of our clients’ business.
You will take wireframes and turn them into beautiful comps and style tiles that conform to modern web accessibility guidelines. Then you’ll take those assets to develop component-based design systems, build online style guides and prototypes, and make git commits. And you will articulate your proposed designs and solutions to a non-technical audience equally as well as to a savvy group of peers.

We’re looking for individuals with a broad range of interests and experiences to be themselves. Your story, your passion is what interests us most.
Before we were Kalamuna, we each worked with causes that mean something to us. We’ve worked with political campaigns and arts organizations and every other kind of endeavor that means something to the human soul. And at some point, we decided to apply our skills in technology, communications and design to these causes—to work on something bigger.
We formed Kalamuna to work on that something bigger together.
Today, we help transform mission-driven organizations by empowering them with the strategy, design, and technology they need to increase their impact. We make great partners to universities, museums, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations; their missions inspire us, and this shows in everything we do. Whether it’s as a strategic advisor, technical partner, or design agency, we make our client’s mission our mission.
